Anyway, I'm pleased with the look of the packaging for the new album. Fish People really seem to care about the end result.

The deluxe Directors Cut book thing was great despite those cd pouches, which I dislike.

The opening single from the forthcoming album 50 Words For Snow will be “Wild Man”. The new single will be released digitally world-wide on Tuesday 11th October at midnight.

• Andy Fairweather Low appears on Wild Man,
• Elton John appears on Snowed In At Wheeler Street,

On Monday 10th October Ken Bruce will be broadcasting the worldwide exclusive play of Wild Man. A radio edit of Kate's new single will be played on BBC Radio 2 (88-91FM) during Ken's show just after 11am UK time.

You know, my bf recently had me give Aerial another go as I also thought it was quite boring, and it has aged really well. The disc with the songs "Nocturn" an "Aerial" is really stunning and beautiful. It was the soundtrack to a drive we took to Palm Springs a couple of weeks ago and it had a perfect summer feel to it. I finally "got," it.

Hoping this new record is along the same lines.

I absolutely LOVE "Aerial!" I thought it was the best album she's ever done in her entire career! It's so peaceful and vibey. I especially love "Mrs. Bartolozzi" and the second disc, "Endless Sky of Honey" in how it was re-released to play as one entire suite! I'm excited for "50 Words for Snow!"
