She's not bad, but she needs some vocal coaching then let's see how she does. Also even though it's not realistic, I was kind of expecting something of Whitney's caliber. Oh well.

Whitney's vocals + Bobby's vocals != something of Whitney's caliber

You were expecting way too much. Just sayin'... lurking

I know, I admit that wasn't realistic. But I thought I remember that the voice runs in Whitney's family. Her Aunt Dionne and I might be mistaken but I thought her mom was an opera singer?

Her mom, Cissy, was a Gospel/Soul singer. Also, Dionne is her cousin. As for Bobbi Kristina, she has a good voice and will come into her own. For people to think that she will be as great Whitney, just puts unecessary pressure on her. Frankly, I think this is what began Whitney's, downward spiral. Just let the child be...

All I could think was "Why did Cissy not bring her grandbaby to church, bawl ? All that weak breathy stuff would have been taken care of right there. (Not to mention that being a part of the choir might help balance out the home situation as well.)

True! So that should be the plan. A few years in a Baptist church hanging out with kids her own age who can sing her under the table will help her step up her game in more ways then one. I can not begin to imagine what being the only child of that duo was like sad all that dirty laundry blowing in the breeze all the time.

I have a feeling, she is going to be all right. As much as I cannot stomach her grandmother, Cissy will make sure that, Bobbi does not stray too far.

I feel sorry for the offspring of famous people like Bobbi who have to live under the shadow and expectations of their parents. When will Bobbi ever get to establish an identity of her own not connected to Whitney or Bobby? confused

Sadly that's not gonna happen. She will always be compared to her parents. That's just the way the cookie crumbles.

Some do make it. Liza Minnelli for one;I don't automatically think of Judy every time I see Liza and her mother was as well known in her day as Whitney. Kate Hudson also is making her own way and Angelina Jolie - I forget all about the dad. I think the key is developing a style all your own. Kate's style isn't very different then Goldie's but it seems genuine and not like she is aping her mother. Lisa Bonet's daughter has an off beat style like her parents but again I think Zoe is genuine and may keep going forward and up with her career. I would not doubt if she surpasses her mother.

Halston helped move Liza out from under the shadow of Judy and that may be what Bobbi needs; someone that helps her develop her own little signature look and sound.

So singing does run in the family! That doesn't necessarily mean that she will be good either. But if she likes it and does well, good for her.

Entertainer

It's so unfair to compare her to her parents. She's barely 18. I think she has more than something there. she has a nice tone, a decent vibrato and she can riff. I don't think she showed what she can really do. She said she was just playing around.

Her uncle, Whitney's brother, Gary Houston who sings backup for Whitney also sings as well as one of Whitney's cousins. The entire family basically sings.

She can't help her looks but I think she's cute. with vocal coaching, her voice can be developed. Clearly with all the postings on her and coverage of this one clip, there is interest in her so that's not a problem. A signature look, the right producers,c atchy songs, it can happen. I can say this acappella version with no auto tune or reverb sounds better than many singers on the radio who have studio productions, pro tools and auto tune effects on their voice.

Again I think of Liza. At first it was sad that she looked like her father but later I think it is what saved her and allowed her too do her own thing. The look she developed with Halston had nothing to do with Judy. I think if Bobbi more closely resembled her mother than getting away from comparisons would be next to impossible. I also think that celebrities who have off beat looks do better making a name for themselves than those that are classically pretty. Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler, Jennifer Aniston, Cher, Madonna, Lady Gaga, they all have something weird about their faces. I don't think Bette has been on the cover of Vogue but I am pretty sure all the others have Vogue covers under their belt.

Liza has never been able to escape the shadow of her mother even with her own success; in fact, her life reflects that of her mother in all too many ways... sad

she is the perfect blend of both parents. I wonder why she doesn't get her teeth fixed, atleast make the gap a little smaller.

Obvious this video has bad lighting but I think she is a cute girl.

It seems to be the thing now to have a gap which is called a "Diastema". Mick Jagger's daughter named Georgia does a lot of modeling in Paris and has a huge gap. Also we know of Madonna,Elton John, Lederman, Anna Paquin, top models Lara Stone and Lauren Hutton have them. I just looked it up on google and it seems that last year on "America's Top Model" Tara Banks actually sent a contestant to the dentist to WIDEN her gap.

I have one and unless the rest of the teeth are also gapped the problem is purely cosmetic. If in fact it IS a problem. Some people find it sexy wink .

Cavities are often caused by food and bacteria getting stuck between teeth. It is people whose teeth are very close or worse, overlap, that have the real problem. Your right those of us who keep it kinda like it. Mine was huge and then in 3rd grade I got braces on just my front two teeth. That closed it. I never used a retainer so now they are gapped again but not as seriously as they were in my third grade picture. My daughter's father has a gap so of course my daughter has one. She is only 9 and whether she keeps it or not is entirely up to her I won't care either way.

(If she fixes it and then wishes she didn't she can always go back to it.)

On the subject of tooth gaps, Freddy Mercury's teeth were not sexy when he talkded but somehow that flashing gap on the side was very sexy when he sang.

I feel even sorrier for the offspring of brokeass no-names. Hi, son of nobody famous here. wave Sure there's no shadow to get out from under but also no one gives a fuck.

At least she's got a platform she can work from a few angle$$$.
