Her husband, Neil Geraldo, is one of the BEST guitar players you will EVER see! Go see Pat Benatar live if for no other reason that to see Geraldo. This cat DEFINES guitar god.

My favorite Benatar songs are:

1. Hit Me With Your Best Shot

2. Heartbreaker

and this funky, funky, FUNKY song:

No particular order:

Little Too Late

Fire and Ice

Heartbreaker

My older brothers loved Pat Benatar and bought all her albums from In the Heat of the Night to Seven the Hard Way. That's how I got introduced. She has an amazing voice! And her guitarist husband is awesome.

I just saw Pat and Neil at BB King's in July. I was in awe. They are such a cute couple and they put on an amazing show. Pat's voice has held up nicely.

Liked her book a lot. If you like those "overcoming the odds" books, it's a pretty good one, and is very honest about her married life.

Had no idea Neil dated the Exorcist chick. I guess there's photos of them out there. Talks about the inner workings of her record company, forcing her to record every 9 months or they'd freeze her checks, or radio station guys sexually harassing her. I know there's a "Behind the Music" which covered a lot of the same things.

Still not in the Rock Hall, yet her influence is undeniable, and the songs are played every day on radio stations worldwide.

There's a bunch of her early stuff on You Tube, like her first single "Day Job" and The Coxon's Army album.

Thought this was cool - singing with the choir from her hometown a few years ago.

You mean Linda Blair. Linda liked her musicians lol . She also dated Rick James and Rick Springfield.

Pink,Avril Lavigne and all these other modern-day "rock chicks" ain't got nothing on Pat Benatar. They're just posers but Pat Benatar is the real thing.
