For me instrumentally Stevie's is somewhat thin sounding. I would have loved for him to re-record it in the mid '70s.

See, I think it has that charming late '60s/early '70s sound. And I simply adore his vocals on it. music

Aretha owns that song lol She truly made it her own.

I like most of his cataloge, and when it comes to melody he's probably one of the best/if not the best

but Stevie WTF, even i can't appreciate this:

All About the Autotune, er, Love Again.

This is how he should have recorded it, live with Wonderlove.

And while I don't like the autotune, I just hate how Demo-ish sounding the song sounds. Surprising, coming from a perfectionist like Stevie. Otherwise, I love the melody and the sentiment.

Time 2 Love Haters are smoking something strong. These three songs make the price of the album worth it:

For Your Love is a horrible tune, isn't it?

I would take that song over, " These Three Words", anyday...

I love them both

and lock because there's no such thing as a bad Stevie Wonder song neutral

A low point in a stellar career? Sure. But a bad song? I don't think so. It has its moments (e.g. the chorus isn't bad at all).

But even if you disagree, he already apologized for it. giggle
