Being a Stevie Wonder fan means that you have to swallow the occasional serving of cheese in between all the good stuff. But I just can't swallow this load of out of date Primula. Next to this, 'I Just Called' sounds like 'Reign In Blood'.

I think cheese gets a bad rap. After all, don't most people love it? A cheesy song doesn't automatically mean it's a bad song. FWIW, "From the Bottom of My Heart" is one of my favorites on A Time 2 Love.

I'm not too crazy about "Part-Time Lover".When it was released,I thought it was too trendy and lightweight for an artist like Stevie Wonder.

You know what- it literally took me until last year to really appreciate the brilliance of this song. I thinks some songs we get used to hearing all our lives and we don't take the time to really listen to them. I was just sitting there listening to Hotter Than July and it hit me.

Jungle Fever. Ick. Ebony & Ivory (although I believe Paul wrote that).

Also, I love everythong on MJ's "Bad" except for "Just Good Friends", that flaming turd of a duet with Stevie.

There`s nothing really wrong with his version but when you compare Aretha`s "Until You Come Back To Me (That's What I'm Gonna Do)" with Stevie's his version sounds weak.

I've said it before, but I prefer his version (although they're both great). Aretha's is confident and sassy while Stevie's is melancholy and desperate. His take resonates more with the lyrics to me.

For me instrumentally Stevie's is somewhat thin sounding. I would have loved for him to re-record it in the mid '70s.

I like the album but I think that there are too many sappy ballads on it.The album needs more jams like "So What The Fuss"! Funk it up,a bit.

no such thing as a bad stevie song. some songs are maybe corny, like i just called...but even that one is not bad.

I thought a time to love had great songs on it and live instrumentation....no autontune...id take that over all the crap out today.

a so-so song like land of la-la for stevie wouldve been a hit for another artist....it couldve fitted on eddie's party all the tieme for another number 1. Lol.

I agree.I just wish the album was more balanced.It has 16 songs.....at least half of those should have been uptempo
