While i am not a huge fan of folk rock, i find this album very listenable indeed. To be fair there is a fusion of sounds in this album that work well, sophisticated arrangements with lyrics that hit home on some songs while others fall short. However overall i am pretty impressed. I was always a fan of the more heavy rock driven numbers she released back in the day, but its nice to see Peeej still releasing great music.

its a great record and more of a grower, like White Chalk a few years back. youll fing yourself humming the songs a few days after you listen... its just beautiful and brilliant,imo.

did you hear that she won the Mercury prize, her second time to do so, for this record.
