Whatever happened to Dead Prez Hey, what happened to Dead Prez? They mad that one incredible album "Let's Get Free"... and I've heard nothing since. Anyone know if I have any new stuff to look forward to?

Loud Records collapsed leaving all their artists scrambling for new deals... DP have recently signed with Sony.
Meanwhile in 2002 they dropped a cool mixtape album called "Turn Off The Radio" which is well worth checking out. New album proper this year all being good... Their official website has all the latest at: http://www.deadprez.com | |

Thanks for the info Ess... much appreciated. Man, a new album would be great. Now that I've already had new albums from Common and the Roots... I don't much to look forward to musicwise at the mo. | |

Yeah even Com, Roots, Talib etc produced anti-climax's to me in the end.
Like I say DP fabs should check out "Turn Off Your Radio", Amazon and 247play stock it and I recommend it almost as much as Musiq Soulchild.  | |
