Whatever happened to Dead Prez

Hey, what happened to Dead Prez? They mad that one incredible album "Let's Get Free"... and I've heard nothing since. Anyone know if I have any new stuff to look forward to?

Cheers

Loud Records collapsed leaving all their artists scrambling for new deals... DP have recently signed with Sony.

Meanwhile in 2002 they dropped a cool mixtape album called "Turn Off The Radio" which is well worth checking out. New album proper this year all being good...

Their official website has all the latest at:

Thanks for the info Ess... much appreciated. Man, a new album would be great. Now that I've already had new albums from Common and the Roots... I don't much to look forward to musicwise at the mo.

Yeah even Com, Roots, Talib etc produced anti-climax's to me in the end.

Like I say DP fabs should check out "Turn Off Your Radio", Amazon and 247play stock it and I recommend it almost as much as Musiq Soulchild. biggrin
