For me, nothing beats hearing new music from my favourite artists. You can get years of entertainment from a great album, but a concert is only for one night.

What about you guys??

New music all the way. But for a few reserved artists, it was also the adrenaline rush of seeing them live!

Right now,

Janet: music and seeing live

Madonna: music

Prince: seeing live if it's a hits tour

Beyonce: seeing live though I really think she's peaked already and I've been saying it for a few years

veteran artists: competent albums every 4-5 years, with a couple of new classics (not necessarily hits)

new artists: good (or great) albums every 2-3 years and world tours...

Both. I've pretty much seen all of my favorite artists live (Prince, Mint Condition, Maxwell, Jill Scott..to name a few) except for Raphael Saadiq...which I'm craving to see live.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

paul simon recently came out with a good album ... so I now going thru a paul simom revisitation ...

Prince - well i now kinda write him off as far as new music ..... of course ... every time i tend to do that , he seems to come back with something that is interesting - so heres to hoping ... but i have not seen him live since 2004 ...

Colonel Angus may be smelly. colonel angus may be a little rough . but deep down ... Colonel angus is very sweet.

touch one...I have to say going to Prince's concert would be more meaningful than anything to me at this moment. I've never been to Prince concert so....beg And songs sound so different at the concert they practically become new song

New music. I have very little interest in seeing an artist live. I have music in my ears almost constantly, though, so it's great to have something new to listen to!

I don't go to concerts, so I don't care about that. So new music.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton
