Space Oddity vs. Rocket Man

Which of these twin songs do you prefer?

I really like them both. If I had to pick one, I'd say Space Oddity. To me, it captures the essence of what both songs are talking about better. The isolation. The desolation. The hopelessness. Though Rocket Man does portray the weariness of it all a lot better.

I love them both as well. Rocket Man is more traditional pop, while the other song is more experimental; even though it is a fine pop song. Space Oddity slightly wins my vote because it is a bit more clever. And that acoustic guitar thing with the hand claps makes me jive like the bunny with his pubes in the fat fryer.

Aaron, thought, super hero's were homophobic..lol

Love em both. SPACE is better IMO...The drama behind the song I just love...and the build to the sing-along-at-the-top-of-your-lungs chorus...it's all just pop perfection!!!

Like tacos and burritos, I like them both for their differences.
This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

I would generally take Elton over Bowie anyday, but Bowie gets the upper hand here with Space Oddity. Although Rocket Man is also a good song.

Maybe so, but I'd say Elton in his prime was more special to me than Bowie. I'm not all that crazy about Bowie anyhow. Besides, what does looks have to do with it anyway?
