Paradise is my least favourite on there sad

There are better songs on the album, but it's unlike anything Madonna's done before or since so it gets a thumbs up from me.

I wondered what made her name the album Music. The diversity? Using guitars? Thinking the market then was oversaturated with too much teen pop and r&B/dance music and taking a different approach with her next effort, referring to Music as "real music"? LOL I do hear a throwback to the 80's in Music and What It Feels Like For a Girl, but the rest sounded adult contemporary.

Maybe there's some irony at play? hmmm Y'know how she love to be "ironic". lol

yeah, just what I was getting at

'Ray Of Light' was the last - actually, one of the only - Madonna albums that I listened to many times from start to finish. I don't know if that was before or after 'Music', I think before, but I LOVE that album.

Otherwise, Madonna has always, always, ALWAYS been a singles artist for me. All the way back to the very beginning when they only thing I owned by her was 12" singles. So along those lines, I freakin' LOVE, 'Don't Tell Me'. Its one of my favorite Madonna songs. Don't really remember anything else off of 'Music' other than 'Don't Tell Me' and the title track.

^ Ray of Light is from 1998, 2 years before Music. I've loved Madonna since the mid 80's and owned the Like a Virgin record, but since I started buying all the actual CD's in the mid 90's, I also saw her as a singles artist with a few standout album tracks until American Life and onwards, I could listen to those start to finish, and usually with Music as well, and Erotica coming close. Her singles are cool, I have a few of her 80's ones on LP I found on sale and the covers are iconic now
