Eliza Doolittle I was over my friends house tonight and she played her for me...I was like..."this is really good"...got halfway through it, and said, "Ok, I'm a fan" Has anyone else heard of her? She's got an Amy Winehouse, Duffy, and Stacy Kent vibe to her...if U haven't heard her, check her out!
If it breaks when it bends, U better not put it in!

I think she's hot and her songs sound rather catchy but don't have a whole lot of substance (the ones i've hard anyway) but she's ok
This was a hit here in the netherlands
(btw i find it odd that there's random old guys miming the chorus)

She crafts songs with vacuous lyrics that instantly hook the listener, a la Katy Perry. That's a plus and a minus.

her album is lovely, i pop it on when i'm feeling girly & daft.. it's been around 4 a little while & went platinum in the uk. her single 'pack up' never did much 4 me, but i saw her supporting paloma faith last year & enjoyed her other stuff. i will say she's a boring performer & comes off as a bubblegum so avoid the vids!! she has a nice voice & the music is good, kinda vintage vibe.. light & breezy listening
