On point with your answers, the Elton John thing is a record but not the one i was thinking of as never being broken.

Elton is the only artist to have at least ONE song in the Top 40 30 years in a row (1970-1999) to me that will never be matched NO WAY.

Perfect on the Jovi questions, on point with the Cover Girls, ironically Jovi's grammy was awarded in the "Country" category.

As for the a-ha questions, the Guiness Records are

Biggest paying audience for a music concert for one artist (festivals excluded) a-ha play the Marcana in Rio in 1991 and sold 197,000 tickets.

And the second Record is Longest note on a studio released single for "Summer Moved On" lead singer morten harket holds the note for 22 seconds on the studio version which was released in 2000.

I'm kind of ashamed to admit this, but Amel Larrieux has not been on my music radar as much as she should have. I've always know that she could sing as one-half of the duo Groove Theory. I believe Amel Larrieux is a lot like Kim Hill as one of those talents with a solid cult following and they're better off without mainstream success.

Ironically i started to ask you about Allen Toussaint. I know he worked with them early on

in their career before the guys moved on to Allen Jones around 1981. The band has some

funky Barkays like songs under Jones direction. The Meters were tight too.
