Book Of Love - Andre Cymone I absolutely love this song, it is even better now its been remastered. It sounds to me just like classic Prince and is very reminiscent of Erotic City in my opinion. Check it out!

It used to circulate as a fake Prince outtake too. I was a bit disappointed when I started realizing it isn't Prince after all (I think I started a thread here back in the day about it too).
Great track though. Didn't have to erase it - just change the artist's name on the mp3 file.

I've always liked AC but after getting the remaster I love it, I only had an mp3 version before so he difference in quality is massive.
I think Book Of Love and Pretty Wild Girl are the two songs I appreciate the most after hearing the remaster.

I always thought this was the most Prince sounding song on this album
Cool song! Whatever happened to AC? [Edited 9/1/11 12:43pm] The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

I need to cop that joint once it releases.
I can't wait to hear a HQ version of Neon Pussycat. (I know Vinyl is regarded as higher quality than CD's as it has a higher range of frequency reproduction but I never got around to purchasing it on wax! lol Which is funny because I uploaded the video posted in the thread. I just downloaded it!)
[Edited 9/1/11 18:37pm] You're so glam, every time I see you I wanna slam!

Cymone had plenty of quality new wave-ish funk and plain funk tunes that deserved more publicity than what they got back when they were new in the 80's.
Thankfully, "Dance Electric" received publicity and moderate radio and chart success.
He finally got credit when he successfully, but in ways that were authentic to the best elements of the funk/new jack swing, produced for Jody Watley.
He should at least have a greatest hits compilation available for MP3 or CD purchase.
Maybe the recent trends that have allowed CD or MP3 availability for Jermaine Stewart (2011) Fatback (2010 - their 1984 and 1985 LPs) and the SOS Band (2010) CDs and MP3s may allow for an eventual release of Andre Cymone LPs or at least a compilation.
