T.I. Lands New VH1 Reality Show About His Life, Family And Music After Prison T.I. Lands New VH1 Reality Show About His Life, Family And Music After Prison & now back in again.
Now that rapper T.I. is free again, having been sent to a community facility following his early release today, he's ready to get back into the reality of it all. Find out about his upcoming reality show inside...
"The King Of The South" has returned to rule Atlanta. And this time, he's bringing a camera crew along to document his journey. Surprise surprise. VH1 just announced that they are producing 10-half hour episodes of a new show about T.I. re-adjusting to life as a free man as he is reunited with his wife and kids, returns to the music studio and tries to stay on the right path. The series will explore subjects like fatherhood, probation, career rebuilding and lessons learned. Fans will also learn more about Tiny (T.I.'s wife) as the series will also focus on her and the OMG GIRLZ (how convenient), the new girl group that she manages and that involves her daughter Zonnique. The "untitled" series will debut on Dec. 5 at 10pm, and has the stamp of approval from top VH1 execs.

T.I.'s FREE! Headed To Community Facility....Aug 31 | by Natasha He's a free man! T.I.--Clifford Harris--was released from an Arkansas prison this morning at 7:29AM. All after a 1 year sentence stemming from violating probation due to his arrest last year for narcotics.
He's out a month early so we assume he's been on his best behavior. Deets inside....
Tiny is somewhere changing up her hair color for this special day. T.I. is currently en route to a community facility--the usual place released inmates go to for certain amount of time right after their release. T.I. has served 11 months after his September 2010 arrest in L.A. for getting caught with cocaine and other substances. He, therefore, violated his probation he was on thanks to his September 2009 felony conviction for illegal weapons. Word was out that T.I. would be released yesterday, but his lawyer tried to shoot down the claims stating they do not know for sure--early release is a last minute decision. Looks like it worked out though. He wasted no time tweeting his excitement saying:
T.I. Back in Federal Custody *Update*Scroll down for updates… According to published reports, rapper T.I. was moved to the federal Penitentiary in Atlanta on Thursday, one day after being released from an Arkansas prison where he served 11 months for violating his probation. The rapper’s lawyer Steve Sadow told The Associated Press that the Federal Bureau of Prisons “moved T.I. to a different facility” because of an issue involving the rapper’s mode of transportation from Arkansas to Atlanta in a gleaming motor coach. But back in December 2009, a similar customized tour bus was hired to transport T.I. from the same Arkansas prison where he served seven months on federal weapons charges to a halfway house in Atlanta. So the issue isn’t so much the luxury tour bus, but what occurred on board the tour bus that prison officials objected to.
On August 31, 2011 — the day T.I. was released from that same Arkansas facility into that same halfway house in Atlanta via the same mode of transportation as the last time — a custom tour bus, an industry veteran reached out to Sandrarose.com and asked, “Does it make sense that VH1 put out a press release about a reality show before T.I. was even back in Atlanta?” No, it didn’t make any sense. Apparently, it didn’t make sense to the feds either. According to a well-connected source within the legal community in Atlanta, the feds “had no idea” that T.I. was the subject of a reality show. Don’t the feds read TMZ.com?
Also at issue, according to our source, was the fact that “arrangements” had been made between the cable network and a worker at the Dismas Charities halfway house to allow filming of T.I. inside the facility. But a higher-up at Dismas Charities told TMZ there is “absolutely no way” the facility will allow VH1 to bring cameras INSIDE the halfway house… saying, “no, it is just not going to happen.” There is no word on whether T.I. will remain at the federal prison in Atlanta or be transported back to Arkansas to finish his sentence. Update I, 9:04 a.m. ET: According to the bureau of prisons website, T.I. is incarcerated at the U.S. federal prison in Atlanta and his new release date is September 29. So it looks like he will do all of his halfway house time locked up. Update II, 9:09 a.m. ET: TMZ.com spoke with T.I.’s uncle, who reiterated that … T.I. was not drinking on the bus to Atlanta and showed up to the halfway house sober and on time. The uncle says T.I. “stopped drinking a long time ago.” T.I. stopped drinking about 10 months ago, to be exact…

Again?...Why do I feel like I've seen this movie before? Oh, that's right, I have...
Nah, I hope dude stays out for good this time. I get the feeling that he was celebrating having just married his long-time girlfriend, another hit record at the time, plus having his movie "Takers" debut No. 1 that weekend (Which was crap to me by the way). The newlyweds got caught celebrating their success. Dumb, but I can see how it happened. What makes it worse is that they drew attention to themselves by driving crazy if I remember right. WOW
Stay out Tip [Edited 9/1/11 9:09am]

How can you compare Martin Luther King, Jr.'s going to jail with T.I.'s reason for going to jail??? That's crazy. One man went to jail for a cause while the other, a rapper, can't seem to get his shit together. TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Because he said KINGS don't go to jail. But of course I am not comparing the two. It was just a joke. Lightened up boo boo!!

Tiny: Prison officials to...o tour busGossip blog TMZ.com continues to push the story that rapper T.I. was moved to a federal prison yesterday because his mode of transportation to a halfway house in Atlanta — a luxury tour bus — was not approved. Now TMZ has published another story which conflicts with their first story. As we reported earlier, a custom tour bus was T.I.’s method of transportation in 2009 when he left Forrest City prison to return to Atlanta. The tour bus was common knowledge, even on Twitter. The tour bus is not the reason T.I. is back in federal custody — it’s what occurred on the bus — and the fact that T.I was traveling with a reality TV crew (not to mention a huge entourage).

Excellent role model. Spend a year in the pen locked up like a useless hog. No daddy around making sure the kids are alright. Then get out for 30 minutes, just to go right back into federal custody. Finally with all the time to reflect on life, instead of deciding to focus on his career, he wants to exploit the kids for the world to see on a pointless reality show with his wife Mrs Piggy to make a quick buck. Not to mention that since he only did a year, his peers think he's a snitch and has it out for him on the streets. Nothing good will come of this I tell ya...But I wish him well.
