Red Hot Chili Peppers- I'm With You Review

The album did stream recently, but i am just listening to it now! i am feelign some of the track's so far!, Brendan's Death Song & Police station! & Even you Brutus.

So far the album is more By The Way in a somber tone and not as funky as other records, which i like the funk... but i like the somber to.

I'ms till listening to the entire album and digesting every track cause RHCP is one of my favorite bands wink

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

Long time RHCP fan here. I have to admit I went into the new album not expecting much. And the first single didn't help either. But after a few listens, I think the new album is very good. As with the new Lenny Kravitz album, nothing ground breaking but very solid and very good. I was surprised by the end of the album how much I enjoyed it. And yes John F. is missed. But new guy Josh does a fine job and has own style that compliments the songs and the band. Good job guys. cool

Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way.

I didn't have any high expectations - because I'm a Frusciante fan too - but I need to admit that the new album is not that bad as I was afraid. Especially ballads are impressive and I don't mind if Klingshoffer's playing sometimes reminds me of Andy Summers.smile The Edge he could forget, if I may wish wink It is also recognizable that Flea has travelled with Josh in Africa and studied composing with piano. The result is very radio friendly pop music with mild funky groove. In Finland "I'm with you" sold immediately gold, despite the fact that the critics have been very negative so far. "Mediocre and tired" - to put it in short.

My personal favourites from this album are: Brendan's Death Song, Annie Wants a Baby, Look Around and Police Station. Dance Dance Dance I would completely skip. It stinks. feeling ill

WOW! I like others was not expecting that much and after a couple listens am totally impressed and loving it! The lead single is a hit waiting to happen and overall the new guitarist is fitting in quite nicely.

My favorite track right now is Police Station - awesome song! I cant stop playing it. Love the piano breakdown and lyrics are very inspirational!

Rock on RHCP!!!!

The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.
