I LOVE IT!!!! =)

A lot of people absolutely love that song. I never warmed up to it, and got so sick of hearing it lol .

If I had to try and pick just one 80s song as my favorite, I don't even think I could, there's just so many of them that I love.

I'll link to this though because I don't think many people know about it and I've always loved it and thought it was hilarious from the first time I heard it :

Are you talking about the 1480's or 280's Before Christ?

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

My personal favourite is Synchronicity 1 by Police.

http://www.youtube.com/wa..._h1X_de23w

Some people dislike Synchronicity 2 but watch the video and then you understand why Sting drove his band members almost mad by imagining himself as Devil after breaking up with Frances Tomelty.

http://www.youtube.com/wa...mp;ob=av2e

Steve Copeland put his feet back on the ground by saying "You're simply an ***hole". Haven't seen Sting in such a demonic mood eversince. biggrin

Well, that makes sense. You're young enough that you'd actually have to seek out videos on the internet because no one plays them anymore. disbelief

FWIW, my favorite '80s song, my favorite song period:

Like A Prayer was one of the best songs/videos from the 80's. I have much too much of 80's favorites so eye cannot even put a stamp on one.
Straight Jacket Funk Affair

Besides it being visual beautiful, it is a strong video against racism.

This is just about as perfect as pop music got in the '80s. Unlike some big hits from that era I do not think that this song has aged at all.

I agree with you 100% because when I think of 80's pop this is it! This song summed up the 80's in my book.

That album is fantatsic, as is the hurting & Seeds of love and they made some of the best songs of the 80's no doubt about it.

That is a great song. I recently heard Shout again and it seemed like it was repeating the same thing over & over, but Everybody Wants... is still a great song
