A lot of people absolutely love that song. I never warmed up to it, and got so sick of hearing it
If I had to try and pick just one 80s song as my favorite, I don't even think I could, there's just so many of them that I love.
I'll link to this though because I don't think many people know about it and I've always loved it and thought it was hilarious from the first time I heard it :

This is just about as perfect as pop music got in the '80s. Unlike some big hits from that era I do not think that this song has aged at all.

That album is fantatsic, as is the hurting & Seeds of love and they made some of the best songs of the 80's no doubt about it. Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener
