I think generally speaking, it's desperate pimping out your baby like an accessory too to generate sales or get attention at an awards show if that is the case with her. I didn't care when other celebs gave birth that much either though I was happy for them.
However, I also can't help but wonder if a lot of folks are uncomfortable or threatened with the fact that she is big from being pregnant and not with a flat stomach like the other female attendees/performers and she is flaunting what is inside of her with pride. Kind of like people becoming uncomfortable with breastfeeding in public when they should NOT be sexualizing a breast for those purposes. I know I've posted my opinions on Beyonce though I like her, but it's just something that makes for interesting discussion you know. Why is this thread 4 pages long from the last time I checked it? Beyonce doesnt present herself as having a outgoing, I say whatever the hell I want and do whatever the hell I want attitude. She creates a very forumula whine up doll persona. So yes its shocking that she would do what she did for alot of people. I personally dont care and am more shocked that people would make a big ass deal about a pregnancy announcment than the award show itself but I guess music is that bad now anything that is news worthy takes the entire cake. If somebody like Jada Smith did what she did it would not be as surprising because she clearly presents herself as being open and not being afraid to opnely speak on certain things regarding her relationship. Because for one thing Michael openly talked about his relationships he had with celebs such as Brooke and Lisa in interviews. He openly talked about his childhood how is farther abused him his life, his likes, fans, fears, very self LESS and giving etc... Michael was SINCERE... REAL... wasnt fake.. Beyonce has yet to turn 30 and I have suspicions of family drama and skeletons in the closet coming out once her sales dip if she is still around. Matthew Knowles knocked up someone and Beyonce kept going, that's commendable. She was in a group since she was a child, just like him. I'm positive I heard about Debbie carrying Paris Jackson in the first trimester back in the 90's. I knew it was summer/early fall and remember when March/April came around, I was preparing myself for the news.

I'm guilty of it myself and he was a stress reliever for me, especially cause I also have musical hobbies and relate to parts of his life so I understand the defensiveness and would personalize it way too much before, but I also think it's important to not set yourself up for being attacked if you're going to be critical of other artists, even if MJ is the best. To many others, MJ is seen as fake...literally. I sound like an asshole saying that, but it is what it is, and I think it's unfair what he was put through, but it's their loss for being so superficial and missing out on who he truly is, and if things were easier, he'd still be here
