I'm still curious about why there was publicity about her being pregnant after Alicia Keys had her baby. I believe that was either a PR stunt to keep her name/brand alive or she suffered a miscarriage. Anyways, congrats to her, though she's not the first to do it. The fact this is being focused on more than the actual show pretty much tells me it sucked this year, surprise surprise. It's almost like she's parading around a new single isn't it? But I'm sure others have confirmed pregnancy in interviews before too, didn't Britney?

Someone on a different blog mentioned that a picture was taken a few days ago that didn't show her with anything but a flat stomach! How in the world did she pull that off?

Well it may or may not boost the sales, but this should definitely get her a bunch of publicity, which she and her people are probably hoping will motivate some folks to buy her album.

Re pregnancy stimulating record sales-there are a ton of people who go bonkers over babies and pregnancies. I am not one of them. Pregnancy makes me think of 2 things-labor pain and stretchmarks. Keep em away from me.

After years of denying endless pregnancy rumors, Beyoncé finally has some good news to share.

The "Single Ladies" singer is pregnant.

Beyoncé held her belly as she arrived at the Video Music Awards Sunday wearing a long, red dress, quite the opposite of her normal midriff-baring stage costumes.

When addressing photographers on the red carpet, Beyoncé said, "I have a surprise!" People reported.

Beyoncé's rep later confirmed the news to the magazine. "I'm happy to say it's true," the rep said, according to People.

In a June interview special on "Piers Morgan Tonight," the "Single Ladies" singer said she looked forward to parenthood.

"I always said I would have a baby at 30," said the singer whose 30^th birthday is September 4.

Apparently, Beyoncé's husband Jay-Z has also had children on his mind. He and Kanye rapped about fatherhood on "New Day" from their new album, "Watch The Throne."
