Ingrid Chavez question

Just a quick question, thought someone might know the answer around here. Ingrid Chavez wrote Justify My Love with Lenny Kravitz, and Madonna famously nicked it and together with Lenny, they claimed it as their own.

Ingrid successfully sued them for millions, and now her name appears where it should in the credits for the song...

So why has Ingrid never released a version of the song herself? Too many bad memories, or is there some other reason?

blah blah blah

I don't know. But it would have been great, she does that spoken thing brilliantly, like in her own album. She has also a very sexy voice which would have fitted the tune. sexy

Al B. Sure! did a version of it. His was on the B-side to No Matter What You Do.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton
