Lady Gaga and Britney Spears ()

Gaga's awkward moment with Britney

Gaga tried to recreate Spears' infamous 2003 Madonna liplock, but Spears pulled away saying she had already done that. Gaga looked disappointed.

Lady Gaga's VMAs Drag Routine Gets to Be a Drag

For Lady Gaga at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, grease was the word. Also, overkill.Showing up in her Jo Calderone drag—previously seen in photo shoots and videos, but not awards shows—Gaga refused to break macho-male character, grinding the novelty into the ground with repeated appearances throughout the 140-minute telecast. It was daring, if you're too young to remember when Annie Lennox sang in a similar black pompadour and male drag at the 1984 Grammys. Of course, Lennox didn't show up again and again during that show to talk about herself in a meta way, pretending to be her own jealous boyfriend.Gaga came close to being herself in the midst of accepting an award for best female video for "Born This Way." Even then, in the midst of the expected talk about gay/lesbian/transgender birthrights, she kept the fake deep voice and accent up. You half-expected her to end the speech by intoning, "Stay gold, Ponyboy. Stay gold ----read more

also: see the proto type for lady gaga's character bite from the show Taxi, titled

"High School Reunion" where Bobby Wheeler (the late Jeff Conaway) get's asked by Danny DeVito's Louie to impersonate him at his high school reunion.

start at 11:59 and see the super character bite. it'll make you say hmmmmmmm? and get real Lady Gaga!

BTW, I'm really sick of Chris Brown's blatant Necrophillia!

Dude can't appear on an Award show without Butt-Fucking a Legend's corpse! 1st he did it with Mike Jack, and now he did it again with Kurt Cobain!

Someone needs to tell this lunkhead that Kurt hated bullies and homophobes.

You wanna know how much I'm a MJ fan?

The fuckin' fact I caught Chris Brown's rip off by his WALK. That shit was classic MJ/Fred Astaire sauntering

I'm kinda shocked I know that disbelief lol

and did you see Jay Z's reaction? He just sat there while Kayne was lookin' like he was about to bust a nut right there in the audience

My best friend said, britney's lipp quivered when she was about kiss gaga. But chicken out because she didn't want to do it.

And that ish was so funny watching britney's lip quiver and eyes water. It was so embarrassing.

Britney knows kissing girls is too predictable, it just looked to me like she rejected gaga's "advances" and wanted to do her speech. I was so happy to hear her give a shout out to MJ smile Can you believe it's been 9 years since they were onstage together and he surprisingly showed up 10 years ago? I nearly had a heart attack with that one

Maybe I'm being too cynical, but I cant help but think that Beyonce showing up at the awards with her "baby bump" is nothing more than a PR stunt. Even the way she's holding her hands---to make sure she shows off the bump so that world will know she's with child. Seems pretty convenient, released an album in late June and it hasnt been selling all that well, released a few singles from her new album and none of them have become a hit. Just released a new music video....Its a clever way to steal the spotlight and get everyone talking about her.

But if she's really preggers, congrats to her and Jay-Z. BTW I thought she supposed to start filmimg the remake of "A Star is Born" sometime this year? hmmm

just had to BOLD THIS. ITS THE MOST IMPORTANT POST ON THIS THREAD.

This is the first year I did not even watch one performance. And this is from someone who has taped all the award shows (Soul Train, MTV, VMA, Lady Soul, etc., etc.) from 1990. It's just too sad to watch now. disbelief I'd rather watch True Blood. I think from now on I'll just come here and read the reviews. thumbs up! There's a difference between loving fame and money more than the actual art of music and dance, than someone who loves the art of music/dance and happens to be famous because of their great talent.

Its a difference between wanting fame and fortune and being thirsty for it and doing anything like showing of an almost non-existant baby bump. If she didn't emphasize it so much I wouldn't even know she was pregant.

Why don't you Get the entire fuck outta here with your response!!!

Just asked my friend who is a computer science major, not to mention programmer, and knows how to build computers from scratch, create applications for the Android phone (SOMETHING THE AVG PERSON CAN'T DO), who is Steve Hawkings and my friend said NO lol lol lol lol

DO YOU KNOW HOW RIDICULOUS YOU SOUND!! because I don't know that one person, that several other people don't know you are trying to use that as a weak argument against me. ITS FREAKING PATHETIC. lol lol lol

its funny to me. But carry on. I know the reason why you only focused in on "Steve Hawkings" as if knowing him means a damn thing.

Yep lol My brother and I taped every episode. That was back in 2000-2001 when at 5:00pm, outside would be a ghost town because everyone from ages 13-18 was in the house watching Dragon Ball Z and Gundam Wing lol

I'm going through boxes and found my old trading card collection and saw some Pokemon cards....and I wasn't even a fan of that damn show lol

I will say I secretly had a crush on Tommy and had to google him to see what he's been up to. boxed

Annnyyywaayyyy...bottom line is--I'd rather sit and watch Dragonball Z, Pokemon, or The freakin' Mighty Morphin PR, hell, even VR Troopers... lol than sit through another VMA Awards show. wall lol

I heard of Albert Einstein, NOT steve Hawkins!!!! Just like i said, SEVERAL people on here don't know him.

just looked at his wiki the first line said this:

Stephen William Hawking, CH, CBE, FRS, FRSA (born 8 January 1942)[1] is an English theoretical physicist and cosmologist, whose scientific books and public appearances have made him an academic celebrity.

Im NOT into astronomy, Im not into Evolution, or the big bang theory. Why because its NOT apart of my beliefs. Just like the things I believe you would not know either. I study things I take interest in.

Glad I missed this hot mess. There wasn't anyone I wanted to see, except for Tony Benett, but I'm glad I didn't waste any of my night just for those few minutes. The rest looks like a bunch of garbage.
