This is the first year I did not even watch one performance. And this is from someone who has taped all the award shows (Soul Train, MTV, VMA, Lady Soul, etc., etc.) from 1990. It's just too sad to watch now. I'd rather watch True Blood. I think from now on I'll just come here and read the reviews. Ya'll let me know when some real talent resurfaces, okay?

There's a difference between loving fame and money more than the actual art of music and dance, than someone who loves the art of music/dance and happens to be famous because of their great talent.

Its a difference between wanting fame and fortune and being thirsty for it and doing anything like showing of an almost non-existant baby bump. If she didn't emphasize it so much I wouldn't even know she was pregant.

Yep My brother and I taped every episode. That was back in 2000-2001 when at 5:00pm, outside would be a ghost town because everyone from ages 13-18 was in the house watching Dragon Ball Z and Gundam Wing

I'm going through boxes and found my old trading card collection and saw some Pokemon cards....and I wasn't even a fan of that damn show

I will say I secretly had a crush on Tommy and had to google him to see what he's been up to.

Annnyyywaayyyy...bottom line is--I'd rather sit and watch Dragonball Z, Pokemon, or The freakin' Mighty Morphin PR, hell, even VR Troopers... than sit through another VMA Awards show.

Honey, I even had the 3D VRT glasses. I said I bought 'em for the boys but I read the magazines in the bathroom.

Glad I missed this hot mess. There wasn't anyone I wanted to see, except for Tony Benett, but I'm glad I didn't waste any of my night just for those few minutes. The rest looks like a bunch of garbage.
