The latest celebrity feud started this week when Lindsay Lohan's lawyer said she was suing rapper Pitbull for using her name in his song Give Me Everything.

The song includes the lyric: "I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan."

Lohan, suing under New York civil rights laws, is concerned the song's reference to her stint in jail will cause "irreparable harm" to her reputation. Ka-ching!

Pitbull says the matter is with the lawyers now and he's still going to sing the song at Sunday's VMAs. He even invited Linds to the show.

When he first heard about the lawsuit, he says in a video on his Planetpit site, "... I was like, you've got to be joking."

He wasn't referring to her jail stint, he says. "When I mentioned Lindsay Lohan in the record, it was a really positive message," he explained, saying the expression is actually flattering. "If you play at the park, if you're from the neighborhood, if you got it locked up it means you run that area."

So it was really a compliment. "I don't look to degrade or hurt someone's career,'' he said. "We mention people's names all the time. Rapping is always about double meanings and metaphors."

Then he would have on lock not locked up. Pitbull is a dumbass, and i'm sick of hearing his wanna be gangster ass on radio. Lindsay need's to get a life.... maybe go back to the thing she's famous for.

she should be lucky ANYONE is mentioning her name. if everyone who was referenced in a song decided to sue..... anyway
