Which one of youse out there has that RIGHT ON! Magazine that announced Janet's pregnancy with her in all her round belly glory sitting on James' lap in the accompanying photo? Where are the 40+ people at up in here? That magazine is STILL in my parents attic with all my favorite books and movie star mags from when I was a kid. What I remember was headlines ablaze all in the black press then about a coming baby for James and Janet, and then suddenly there's no baby, she lost weight, and was annulling the marriage. I didn't think much of it because even that that age I figured it was their business. But it looked abundantly clear to me in the photo that she was with child, or else she was just somehow concentrating a wholllle buncha weight in her mid-section.

Anyhoo- maybe there's a kid, maybe not. Meh. Wouldn't be the first time celebs from that era hid information about their lives from the general public to protect an image they were building. Now we live in a society where people want to be seen as "real", or relatable, so there's now the extreme opposite; people magnifying their imperfections, mistakes, life conflicts, warts and to gain or maintain brand recognition in their careers.

So while some would say, "why go to all that trouble just to hide a kid"?. I would reply, if it were true, it would simply be reflective of the the time, the social mores having to do with being a celebrity then. If it's not true, then, that's fine too. Either way, do we really care? That's Janet and James' headache .

Back in the day the NE was notorious for making up s***, but lately people have been giving them dap for actually breaking true stories, so who knows? I will say this, had Mama Etterlean (and why her name sound like a brand of breakfast sausage, btw?)- anyway, had Mama Etterlean been talking to TMZ--- then I'd say somebody needs to call her Reverend at the chuch so the leadership can deal with her

Yes and no. I do have experience with senior citizens suddenly wanting to reveal every last secret in the nook and cranny of teir life history as they get up in age.

The Jacksons never approved of Janet's marriage to James.They put alot of pressure on Janet to annul the marriage,which she ultimately did.

they desperately wanna have a jackson kid in the family. mama debarge got 150 grandkids, yet she continues to consume herself with a phantom child. i can imagine how james real kids must feel, its like if their dad did have a kid with janet grandma would put that kid on a pedestal
