Ke$ha To Release New Album In Early 2012

Ke$ha blasted her way into the music industry with her monster hit ‘Tik Tok’ and now, after months of touring without releasing any new material and writing smashes for other artists, she is ready to return to the spotlight. In fact, the Pop phenomenon is aiming to release her new album in early 2012.
Dr. Luke broke the news via Twitter that Ke$ha’s followup to ‘Animal’ will stores by May next year. Ke$ha previously stated that the record is inspired by 1970′s Rock & Roll, particularly the music of Led Zeppelin and AC/DC.
——————————————————-
This news is not all surpassing. It is actually more shocking that Ke$ha didn’t release an album at the start of 2011, following the almost annual trend of her fellow Pop star Rihanna.
Many people denounce Ke$ha’s talent primarily because of her incessant use of auto-tune and the fact that she doesn’t seem to take her music seriously. However, despite her intoxicated demeanor, she is actually a talented artist who has crafted some of the best Pop songs of the last year such as Britney Spears’ ‘Till The World Ends’.
Every artist does not have to be a serious literary thinker like Stevie Wonder or multi-octave vocalist like Mariah Carey. At least Ke$ha writes her own music and is involved in creating her hits, which is a lot more than I can say for Rihanna or Spears.

Its sad that this is what we have to settle for.
There was a time when ALL artist where creative thinkers.

I'm absolutely not a fan of Ke$ha but, it sounds interesting. If she is really doing some rock or just another pop/dance album.. we will see. I definitely gonna check it out anyway. Just cuz I'm curious. lol

I rather liked Animal. It's a pretty good album. It's consistant and the songs are fun and good. I don't know why everyone is hating so hard. I do have to get acquainted with Cannibal though.

So this is actually what causes the end of the world in December. I'd been wondering what triggered it.

Well, for one her lyricism is near the levels of Friday, she cant sing, and the production sucks.

1. I'm not going to argue about the lyrics, because that's just your opinion.

2. She sings about just as good as Rhianna, Britney Spears, and/or Katy Perry. Needless to say that they all suck major ass vocally as well.

3. The production on her albums are no different from the rest of the other three I stated since it's the same people working on it anyways.

I find it to be fun music. No shame in that shit. I'm not some music elitist with my head in my ass that I can't just enjoy it for what it is.

the funny thing is that the problem we all have at times is NOT seperating aritsts and lumping them all together, yes Kesha and Britney and others are basically doing the same "type" of music, especially at this point the production of all is becoming so similar you really cant tell the difference in tracks, but i will even go a step further, and say that i can get the same "fun" listening to a pop female like a Selena Gomez or Demi Lovato who actually can sing, or even an Ashley Tisdale who Kesha is stealing her look from at this point.

If you do, that's your business. I'm not going to argue with anyone who enjoys anything like that, especially bubblegum pop. It's meant to be enjoyed. That's why it was created.

"pop" now is very see through, the songs are crafted way differently, they arent written by the artist many times but even more than that, the creation is very plastic and cheap and throwaway, so u will get this one sounding like that one, which is why i can never till the difference from say a rb male like usher or trey songz. production is so limited now, because of the expenses, the cutbacks came from the actual production of a song, it shouldnt cost more to pay a writer than to record a record, but it does, new business model now.

That would apply to lots of old Motown music as well wouldn't it?

I get the point your stressing my only disagreement with say Motown as an example was that was a "sound" coming from a particular place, same as the "phillie" sound or what Prince was doing or Stock Aiken Waterman in the 80's. KAty Perry and others just sound alike but all are coming from different sources, which shows to me at least the lack of wanting an identity, but most of the artists i spoke off shouldnt be taken seriously long term anyway.
