Red Hot Chili Peppers Stream New Album, I'm With You

The RHC are streaming their new album for free on iTunes.

The band, who will release their tenth studio album I'm With You on August 29 in the UK and August 30 in the US, are giving fans an opportunity to listen to the record a week ahead of its availability.

I'm With You is now available to stream in full for free via Apple's iTunes music store, where listeners are also able to pre-order the record.

Listening to it now. Somehow it's comforting to hear their sound again.

Will listen to the whole thing before I comment, but so far I like it.

I've listened to the stream on iTunes, it's good and sticks to the formula Rick Rubin set them up with since By The Way. I have it on pre order , they did well withthis one.

Good album. Nothing ground breaking, but that's never something expected from the Chili Peppers.

The word that keeps coming to mind is comforting. Like an old t-shirt, favorite jeans or something.

John Frusciante is sorely missed here. At least by me. He took their songs to a whole other stratosphere. To me this album is squarely grounded on a nice familiar and comfortable place.
