Iron Maiden Wow, i have not listened to these cats in forever!, i overplayed them[that's saying it nicely] in high school especially freshman & sophmore year. And i started listening to there albums again man these guys are some great musicians!, Nicko McBrain is a powerhouse drummer! his timing and beats are just incredible. Dave Murray & Adrian Smith are powerhouse guitar duo and i stil have arguments over who is superior. Those 2 or Glen Tipton & K.K Downing. Steve Harris is a monster bass player with killer grooves.
And Bruce has a great voice, hell even Paul Day the original singer tickled my pickle.

One of my favorite bands ever. I saw them live for the first time a year ago. Like you, I listened to them to death in high school then moved on to other things. When Bruce and Adrian returned to the band in 1999, I rediscovered them and was even more impressed with their musicianship... even with a more mature set of ears. LOVE Maiden! | |
