I'll wait for the Blu-ray DVD. That Sax/Guitar guy is FANTASTIC. I saw her on her last tour and they kicked ASS. Too bad she didn't come to NYC. I know I know she was in jersey, but I'd rather see her here. Besides that the tix were a bit expensive for me. Just Music-No Categories-Enjoy It! |

Just got back from the Sade concert. I can't believe what an amazing concert experience I've missed out on all these years! Anyone who likes the albums has got to see this group live; they are so much more impressive in person than on video or CD! I felt transported in a way that I rarely do when going to live performances. As nice as the John Legend performance was, it paled in comparison to Sade. The audience that packed the venue shook the rafters with their cheers and applause; they couldn't get enough. Like the woman seated in front of me said, "If they come back in ten years, I'll be there!"
I was at the Saturday show! It was worth the cost and nosebleed seats. It was an awesome production. Love the band! They had the place rockin'. I was taken aback by the male reaction to her. It's something I haven't witnessed before. It was a wonderful experience. Still wish for a Sade and Maxwell tour with Sweetback opening. "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

Wasn't that concert tha bomb!!! Hella worth it, even for club seats! And the Bay Area crowd is the Best when they really love somebody--like Sade or Prince! They raised the roof off the place and didn't want to let either Sade or Prince go when I went. Prince himself holds Sade in high esteem--he tried to compare his protegee Bria to Sade Adu in an interview with Tavis Smiley and he quickly took back the comparison. I think a double bill of Sade (the band) and Prince would be a terrific combination! "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato
