Yeah he only meant Axl. Axl treated him and Nirvana like shit I heard.

He did & made comments about there daughter which was a low blow.

It was Kurt who first slagged Gn'R, Axl had been nothing but complimentary about Nirvana to the point of wearing their cap and inviting them to open on their '92 tour with Metallica.

After K&C's kid was born amid rumours about their using and suchlike Axl had said onstage that if the stories he'd heard were substantiated they ought to go to jail, or something to that effect.

Kurt on Axl

"His role has been played for years. Ever since the beginning of rock and roll there's been an Axl Rose. And it's just boring. It's totally boring to me. Why it's such a fresh and new thing in his eyes is obviously because it's happening to him personally and he's such an egotistical person that he thinks that the whole world owes him something."

Robert Plant on Black Sabbath

When asked about Black Sabbath by the CBC, Plant openly ripped on the metal pioneers behind 'Paranoid,' suggesting they were no more relevant than '60s country/pop artist Bobby Goldsboro. Plant joked, "Who? They'll go a long way and they'll influence a lot of people in Seattle. Lovely, great, yeah. And what would you do without Bobby Goldsboro as well?"

Some of them are pointed, some of them are over the line, some of them are damn funny!

But the only one I care about is Wayne Coyne commenting about Arcade Fire. See, I disagree with him. They actually write completely SHIT songs, they're pompous, treat others like shit and people STILL treat them like they're the greatest thing ever. Buncha crap. Eight people in that band and you can't hear what more than three or four of them are doing at any one time. And the woman "singer" in that band has no business singing ANYTHING, ANYWHERE, EVER!

*uhum* Now back to your regularly scheduled musicians ragging on other musicians...

I don't feel that strongly about them but their music does not do a thing for me and Win Butler seems a bit full of himself. I think that part of the problem is all of the press they get claiming they are the Greatest Band Ever. They are not and they do not even come close to living up to the hype.

They actually make me angry. lol I have friends who have been espousing their greatness since their first album, which was WAY shittier than the most recent one. I really, REALLY dislike them. Their songs are not that original or challenging, their lyrics are pretentious and trite, and I seriously do not understand what all those people are doing on stage. I honestly think half of them must just be pretending to play, because you certainly can't hear them in the mix.

Absolute nonsense. lol Evidently you've chosen to ignore every crazy thing Courtney has ever said or done relating to her child. Unfortunate, because they are vast, many and quite entertaining. Talking shit about the PARENT is not the same as talking shit about a child, either. But whatever, I'm not going to argue this any further. Courtney deserves ALL the shit she's gotten and will continue to get. Even better, she brought it all on herself.

In my opinion, Courtney gets a really bad rep. I don't big up Kathleen for saying that. That was still someone's child. I'm glad she got decked for that.

Whether the truth or not it was a shitty thing to say. I find Courtney bizarrely fascinating and I'm a big fan of her band, but I could loath her and still condone her response to that no-mark.

Nowadays I get concerned for Courtney. Most of them people from that era of music seem to have real emotional problems, especially Courtney. There's still rumors to this day that she planned her husband's murder, which is poppycock. True Courtney has done some real effed up things but I won't excuse Kathleen's comments no matter how crazy Courtney is.

Yeah I still don't know why people are still trying to claim that Kurt didn't commit suicide. Even sillier to think someone as fucked up mentally as Courtney admittedly is (she herself said she ain't right lol) would plan it. lol

Please, it ain't all that serious. rolleyes But just for the record, I'm discussing facts, not heresay or gossip. There are entire books worth of the insane nastiness Courtney Love has spewed on to and about other people. Nastiness that she goes out of her way to make sure everyone is paying attention to. Also, to me, your defending someone you supposedly know nothing about is no less disturbing. If you don't know, why are you even typing? shrug

My favourite Diva diss:

Madonna dissed Mariah and Whitney in an magazine interview - something along of the lines that she can't believe they're America's most popular artists when they don't have anything of substance to sing about.

Mariah's response " I used to like Madonna back when she was popular"

It's so driven by people's hate for Courtney, people think because she's erratic and a bitch that she must automatically be capable of murder - and so people take one guy's word over scientific evidence, facts and pure common sense.

Not comparing, but this reminds me of the whole Beatles and Yoko Ono nonsense. It's like people rolleyes, c'mon. Beatles have been together for like ten years. That's longer than a lot of bands, and they made some amazing music.

Like, have people listened to Nirvana? It's not like Kurt was talking about unicorns and rainbows and shit. He wasn't exactly a happy person.

disbelief People just want someone to blame.

It's that serious to you as well apparently, with you saying something as intense as her deserving everything unfortunate thing is said or done to her.

Facts? Oh, please you haven't presented a fact yet other than verbally attacking her and insisting it's so because you say so. I don't go off of what other people say especially knowing how people tend to just blindly accept rumors about other people as fact. I think for myself and it takes more for me to dislike someone than just hearing through the grapevine that they're supposedly awful people. Maybe you didn't but I left behind that high-school grapevine, lemming mindset when I grew up.

And there's few things more disturbing that wishing ill and spewing out so much destructive, negative energy toward another human being you don't know who hasn't done a thing to you based on whispers you've heard about them. One of us is being a little creepy here, but it's not me.

The hate from the Disciples does make it much like Yoko Ono.

This was the guy who wrote a song, and wanted to name an album, "I Hate Myself and Want to Die"?

Oh, and kurt wrote live through this, remember? wink except credit in the straight world of course. smile

I didn't know Miles Davis didn't like Mick Jagger lol

There were quite a few musicians Miles respected but Mick Jagger wasn’t one of them. Miles told me that one day Mick showed up at his house unannounced. Miles came to the door and Mick was standing there. Mick said “Hi, Miles. “I’m Mick Jagger.” Miles said “So, what!” and slammed the door in Mick’s face.” recalled the Peabody Award winner.
