Who would you like to collaborate? Your choices can be alive or deceased. You can also create bands or have acts work with a certain producer. Here's a few of mine.
Sam Cooke & Stevie Wonder Kraftwerk & Michael Jackson Hall and Oates & Marvin Gaye Digable Planets & Roy Ayers
You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I wonder what the "Toot and snore in 74" guys would have come up with if the session was taken seriously and not with a drunk/high John Lennon yelling out nonsense. It's probably been said dozens of times, but, if Jimi Hendrix were alive, imagine the sounds he and Prince along with Larry Graham could produce. Mind boggling

Bowie and Prince...I know it sbeen said ad nauseum but I think Bowie would pull the experiemntal back out of Prince a etc. However they are both kind of past their proverbial prime even with some mini returns by both the last decade so I dont know how it would turn out now..I thought it was kind of a waste of him choosing to duet with Madonna rather than Bopwie back in the 80's "Climb in my fur."

Dr. John and Leon Russell would be a most tasty combination in my opinion.
Both are awesome piano players and both have entirely unique vocal qualites that would be of awesome potential for duets and harmonies.
Leon just did an album with Elton John which I kinda like but I'm still waiting for a swamp funk collaboration with Dr. John. That would be the shiz.

The pairing of these two musical innovators might have produced more music for the ages. "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."
