Headphone Masterpieces
What are your 'headphones' albums? The records that sound better on a more intimate scale. The album that sound great without outside interference.. just you and the music.

To me every album is a headphone album, I actually greatly prefer to listen to my music that way, you can hear every little thing better that way, a lot of stuff you miss without them. Which is why I've been kinda pissy lately because I broke my headphones and I've been forced to listen to everything out loud. | |

Just some dumb ass pop with a high tempo and catchy enough melodies. I can get hooked to that for hours and just play the same song on repeat.
I like to enjoy the artsy stuff with bigger speakers. | |

It's the opposite for me, for the most part. The 'dumb ass pop' stuff is what I like to dance around to in my room.

Haven't heard most of the list, but do agree with Hejira, Mama's Gun, There's a Riot Goin' On, Voodoo, "Heroes.", Sign O' the Times & Sgt. Pepper's being great headphone listens.

I love listening to "Fever" on headphones!
Impossible Princess is another great choice, although the pop-rock songs (SKOB & IDNA) are preferred on speakers. | |
