INXS Remastered (1980 – 1997): 10-CD Box Set released by Universal Music for Australia, UK & Europe!

In 2011, as part of a new, long-term agreement, the complete catalogue from one of Australia's greatest ever bands, INXS, is proudly reissued by Universal Music. The enviable body of work from one of the world's most popular bands of the past 30 years enjoys a long-overdue remaster and regeneration – a band who have provided the soundtrack to all our lives.

From their original formation in Australia in 1977, INXS with Michael Hutchence on lead vocals created a body of work which has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, including No. 1 hits in four continents, six UK Top 10 albums, five US Top 20 albums, and 33 hits in their homeland Australia. The band's most successful releases include 1987's "Kick," with global sales of 10 million,1990's "X" and 1992's "Welcome To Wherever You Are".

This box set compiles the band's enviable 10-album catalogue, in a heavy card slipcase – available for a limited time only in Australia, UK & Europe. The 10 remastered albums will also be on sale individually and via iTunes.

Very cool, will probably pick up "Elegantly Wasted", wish they had included the b-sides aswell though.

Sound quality still is poor on early records, didnt do anything to them for the most part, im hearing that the band are not even part of this process, so cant really support it to that extent, kind of like when Warner Brothers Boxed the first 3 a-ha cds and shipped them to america and slapped a Remastered sticker on it, and yet they werent touched, it wasnt till this year when a-ha got the masters to the first 2 records that they did the work themselves

er

Brilliant, looks like I've found my Christmas present! Saw INXS for the final time 5 months before Michael Hutchence passed away. sad Could listen to Hutchence's voice all day long & it's tragic they will never find any1 who could lick his boots. Saw JD Fortune fronting them a while back & it just made me feel even more sad for them all, especially Andrew Farriss. Dont Change has to be my No.1. In recent times I've been into their first album INXS- love INXS during the punk era.
