Van Hunt's album Popular reminds me of a lava lamp--not in bad way. Songs I like best are: Turn The TV On, Popular, Feelings, The Lowest 1 of My Desires (very sexy), Bits & Pieces, and Character, played with only acoustic guitar and which blows me away. The other songs are good but aren't as memorable to me. Van Hunt is obviously a very talented singer-songwriter and musician with a unique sound. Worth going to see IMO. I wish I could, but making a 3 hour drive to Richmond after work on Friday sounds so unappealing  If you will, so will I |
