^^Nice tune. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

what? Connie sang also in English
seriously, around here in Austria or Germany just go and ask people on the street, she's almost exclusively known for her German hits which still get much ariplay
Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!

I met and had dinner with Connie Francis in the late 90's, at an All White party at her cousin's house in Boca Raton (can't remember if it was a birthday or anniversary party, though). She sang "Where the Boys Are" as an opening to the entertainment portion of the party, and I still have the pics of us- locked away somewhere in my Miami chest of photos from the old days She was very sweet and gracious, very much "Old Hollywood" in her manner and style. I looove old school Hollywood.

Man! I haven't heard that name since the 80s! I didn't even know she was still around. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley
