This is a good vs. I was always in love with Wilson Phillips' "Hold On". Just the uplifting nature and catchiness of the song. I like EV's "Hold On" too, but WP wins it for me.

Yup nod Janet's "Love Will Never Do Without You". I wonder which one came first? Because Janet was mad singles deep by the time "LWNDWY" came out. It had to be a year later or so after RN dropped in '89.

"Hold On" was first. "Love Will Never Do (Without You)" didn't debut until late 1990.

The first video Djimon made an appearance in was Paula Abdul's "Straight Up"

I have to say Wilson Phillips did their thing and they are capable of handling things vocally but EnVogue has this one hands down......Each Vocalist from EnVogue holds their OWN and DawnMaxTerry&Cindy are the TRUTH......AMAZING harmonies and i don't know another girl group who can hold a candle to them LIVE or otherwise. Brownstone is a close second tho!

I honestly don't care that much for Wilson Phillips, but I dig Carnie Wilson, she's pretty raunchy.

I'm not saying Wilson Phillips didn't have good voices or harmonies. Just that their combined voices are the sound of a freshly douched vagina. They would've made great Masengill commercial jingles.

No, but I know she's done a lot of reality TV lately.

I just read that she did do Playboy around '03 when she first lost all that weight.

I did too. There's pics of her in like a pink corset. The search took me to some other forum where someone said "inside that corset is a world of pain" falloff

Awww...Carnie we love u. You were just on RuPaul's Drag U. cry

Hold On

My impulse is to say En Vogue, but dear god the lead vocals on that totally suck.

It has sort of a Prince-coverband treatment to it. Irks me.

The Wilson Philips one is more pleasent but to sugary. But irks me less.

Plus they hide the fat one.
