Just recently discovered this supergroup and they're great!, features Johnny Marr, Bernard Sumner & Neil Tennant. I definately reccomend these guys if your into New Order, should've been bigger! We're here, might as well get into it.

The group that emerged after the death of Ian Curtis, which also ended the tenure of Joy Division. Gotta check out more of their stuff. Thanks. Interesting how they developed another new project on top of what they done already. Amazing catalog I reckon. [Edited 8/15/11 17:15pm]

One of my all time favorite tracks. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

Big fan of New Order and Electronic. Gotta clarify something though... Electronic was/is ONLY Sumner and Marr. Tennant (and Lowe for that matter) only collaborated on a couple of tracks (Getting Away With It, Dissappointed and maybe one other). I get a little peeved with every Electronic bio out there mentioning that Tennant was a member of that group (not that I don't like him or PSB). Okay, off soapbox.
And if you don't own any of their stuff, TooFunkyinhere, I'd recommend tracking down all three of their albums. They are all good. My personal preference is first and third album tied for best and second coming in... second. They all three have a bit different feel from each other. Get ahold of their b-sides too (a few are on Get The Message-The Best of Electronic).

Yeah i picked up The Best of, and was so impressed with that i picked the 3 albums up pretty swiftly. Interestingly i think their first album is probably my least favourite, i think they're all great though. "Twisted Tenderness" would be my favourite, i think that album's a bit of an undiscovered masterpiece, it sounds so ahead its time. I haven't heard many of the B-sides, should check them out... We're here, might as well get into it.

Lol, New Order is one of my fav groups ever, though they are depressing to listen to I love how the first song I see by this group is actually called Disappointed Watch me talk about Prince - http://www.youtube.com/us...ature=mhee

Definitely agree with that. In 1999 I ordered TT (at the time only available as a Japanese Import) and it blew me away when I heard it. I was expecting more of the sound they stuck to on the first two albums (which I was quite found of), but TT was something else entirely. Make It Happen (the opener) pretty much states Sumner/Marr's intentions for the album. Oddly enough, I always felt the one track that didn't fit on TT (the title track) sounded like it could easily fit on either of the first two albums. TT was my fave of theirs for years. Only recently have I pulled out Electronic and Raise the Pressure again (probably the only reason I listed the first and third being tied for favorites). Great collaboration between Sumner and Marr. Just wish they would have done more.
