White Zombie Sorry for all the postings today i am on a 90's alternative/grunge crack binge or something
But i always wondered if anyone on the org was a fan of White Zombie?, i honestly think Rob is a genius. White Zombie with there crunchy guitar licks, funky basslines and Zombies monster, macabre lyrics where something special. Early Zombie was more punk/art noise then anything. And there albums like Soul Crusher & pig heaven sound like Black Flag with monster lyrics
La Sexorcisto & Astro Creep are 2 of the best records of the 90's imo

I'm a fan! I've seen White Zombie live several times and have seen Rob Zombie live when he went solo, and have most of WZ and Rob solo CDs.
I don't know if you're a fan of them, but I like Powerman 5000, too. Rob's brother, Spider, is the leader (and only original member) of PM5K. | |

Do you mean "Destroy What You Enjoy"? It sounded more punk rock than the electro-metal kind of style PM5K is known for. The last one they had out, "Somewhere On The Other Side Of Nowhere" IS really good! It's more like the "Stars Revolt" than anythything they've done in a while. | |

I think Mega Kung Fy Radio is my favorite so far!
I also liked Tonight The Stars Revolt, Anyone For Doomsday & parts of Transform.

I saw White Zombie at The Marquee (the original venue) back in the early 90's. Met the guys afterwards, Rob Zombie was very shy. Polite, affable - but shy. | |
