One of the best bands of all time, but they will receive very little appreciation on this board.

My Out of Time thread didn't get many responses. That's my favorite album. Favorite songs? Hmm... "Losing My Religion" and "Fall on Me" are definitely up there... "The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonight," "Bang and Blame," "Gardening at Night," "Imitation of Life," "Me in Honey," "So. Central Rain (I'm Sorry)," the list goes on...

I think this has got to be my favorite R.E.M. song, so beautiful! And I just love that they worked with Patti Smith!

Dreaming of Maria Callas... whoever she is.

No one has mentioned Up. It's my second favourite, only losing to Automatic For The People.

I've never thought which song I like the most. Let's see... Maybe I'd choose E-Bow The Letter, already posted by other orger.

"Life's Rich Pageant" has always been a sentimental favorite. "New Adventures in Hi-Fi" has really grown on me over the years, though.

There's too many songs to mention. Funny to think though, what got me to buy that first album was their cover of 'Superman'.

Fave album is a tough one, probably a tie between New Adventures In Hi-Fi, Automatic For The People and Life's Rich Pageant.

Their first 10 albums are all brilliant, actually.

Fave songs? Way too many to list. lol

Luuuuurve R.E.M.

One of my very favourite bands.
