I LOVE Beth Ditto, her EP really was the release of the year to me, this song has become one of my favorites!

Her voice is so perfect for the dark dance beats of Simian Mobile Disco, here is a total gem too.

I have been a big fan of Gossip since back in the day, but I often did not really cherish Beth's commentary on celebrities and such. However, I let the music do the talking and, well.... You just can't argue with it. The solo EP is on fire.

I saw them live during the Men In Love Tour out here in the bay and she was fucked up and sick. She told us that we'd be hitting the high notes for her that night, if we didn't mind. Are you kidding?! She sounded great despite being hoarse during runs or high pitch or screamy stuff, but it worked. It worked for me, anyway!

Heavy Cross is such a banger, The loud quiet dynamic works so well for them.

When these guys played near me I did not go, as I had a cold much to my girlfriends annoyance.

When I think back now I was such a pussy, I could easily have attended, I would love to see them live.
