Quick Question about Tami Terrell & her medical condition

Now, with all the advances made with medical science, if Tami were living today, could they have cured that tumor, stopped it from growing back like it always did?

Identity

Doctors treated her for a cancerous brain tumor (metastatic). The survival rate is only 1-2 years, despite modern medical advances.
