Fantatsic album, one of the best of the 90's... yet sadly a bit forgotten

I love it. Kevin Shields is a noise genius.

I had this and TJAMC's Psychocandy on heavy rotation around that time.

Beautiful album. Really like to put this on in extreme weather -- bright sunny afternoons, heavy rain storms or blizzard-y snow days.

You have to play this album loud.

To me it always sounded like how the perfect pop album would sound under water.

The remastered album has been delayed for years now. What's the deal with that?

I saw MBV live in 2008. Loudest show ever. Anyone who didn't wear earplugs left with permanent hearing damage I'm sure.

When that day comes, I would not be surprised to see the release pushed back yet again.

It's a shame these guys only had 2 studio albums...

Certainly not forgotten by any fans of alternative music. A true classic.

So did I @ the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, sans earplugs. "You Made Me Realize" --

I couldn't stop giggling for twenty mintues afterward. But I don't think my hearing is permanently damaged. At least, that's the hope.

How long did that noise assault at the end of "You Made Me Realise" last? 15 minutes? People nearer to the stage here were raising their hands in the air because you could actually feel the sound, it was so loud. I did not take the free earplugs offered to everyone as they entered and at the end had to stick my fingers in my ears and hold them there for dear life.

At the NY show, yes. When the earplugs were being offered as everyone walked in, I was all I want to actually hear the music! But at the end of the show I was crying for them.
