Everyone knows Michael made some negative comment about "Jack U Off" and so on. But didn't Madonna have a song/album titled Like A Virgin? And he loved Madonna.

Maybe because Madonna was a female I guess. But I never seen Prince put a damn Coke bottle in his mouth as if he was sucking a you know what. But Prince was 10 times more X-rated than Madonna.

I don't think Michael had a problem with Madonna's sexual image or Prince's sexual image.He wanted to do a song with Prince in 1987 ("Bad") and a song with Madonna in 1991 ("In The Closet") so he obviously wasn't bothered by their sexual image.Who knows,maybe Michael was trying to develop a shocking,provocative image of her own? Maybe that's why he wanted to work with them.

Michael didn't approve of any of his competitors. According to J. Randy Taraborrelli, he was even threatened by Terrance Trent D'Arby, during his brief stint as a hitmaker in 1988.
