i think i prefer part one...
...more innovative, darker, experimental, trippier, heavier and weirder...
...more of a masterpiece...
part two was almost an afterthough, a sort of sequel that doesn't answer the full questions of the first movie...
altho part two is more instantly gratifying, satisfying, organic, sexy and groovy (and analog, and closer in style to my fave album of all time...Mama's Gun...) I'll leave it alone babe...just be me | |

Funny there's a thread on this. I was just listening to New Amerykah Part 2 earlier this week. Anyway Part One (4th World War) takes the cake for me. It's like the second top Badu record for me. 21st century digital funk, soul and hip-hop at its best. Check me out and add me on:
