Is it true that Don Cornelius wouldn't let Parliament/Funkadelic actually perform on Soul Train because he thought they were too wild looking, or more specifically because Garry Shider wore a diaper onstage?

Hell yeah, this was back when they actually used to could dance and shake ass on the Soul Train before all they got all those stiff heffers on there around 1983 or so. lol

I can believe it. And you knew Don was uncool when he invited the fake-ass Funkadelic (well actually some of the original vocal members with a new member and a different sound I guess) to there but didn't wanna deal with George and Garry and 'em lol no stab on "The Funkadelics" just saying.

I was just about to say I saw Funkadelic on an old episode a few years ago and they were so horrible I didn't even record that episode.
