Out of female blue-eyed soul singers, I have to agree it's Teena Marie, hands down. Probably followed by Nikka Costa. Actually Amy Winehouse should be third, then maybe Jessie J.

Adele is a better singer than Amy. Amy was great on Frank but her voice isn't all that on her most famed album They both sing better than Britney

Teena Marie.

Maybe not one of the most famous but certainly one of the most talented- Alice Russell.

Actually, no; I had her first CD and "Stripped", both of which I played to death at one point. I never heard soul in her voice, despite her ability to sing almost anyone under the table.
