From 1972 to 1991, he released 13 albums (and at least three that were shelved at the last minute.) Some sold better than others, some went platinum, even multi-platinum, some went gold and one didn't even chart, but they all had gems on them (even the one that didn't chart, it may have had one of his more beautiful recordings in "Castles of Sands".)

Nope, that's the album where Arista was really trying to "cross over" Jermaine, the material on that album is too pop for my taste LBC.

I don't have any of his albums (just a 'best of' CD) but I think his 1984 album was pretty good....you know,the album that contains the singles "Dynamite","Do What You Do" and that excellent duet with Michael "Tell Me I'm Not Dreamin".I'm gonna look for that album on my next vinyl dig
