For all of U Alexander O'Neal fans out there...and I am a BIG one myself...U may be interested 2 know that "HEARSAY" has been re-released!!! This is one of my favorite albums/CD's of ALL TIME! Just the vibe, 4 me anyway...is incredible. I picked it up at Media Play this past weekend, along with...get this..."Alexander O'Neal" w/ Innocent, as well as Cherrelle's "Fragile". I saw an add in Media Play's sunday insert 4 "High Priority" by Cherrelle 2, but that was not available as of Sunday. I didn't get a chance 2 check yesterday (Tuesday) but will check today. Best Buy (St. Cloud, MN) also had Alex's debut and Cherrelle's "Fragile", but no "Hearsay". Just thought I would pass on the good news...I did not see any threads giving this info in the past month or so, and "Hearsay" is a 2003 release, while the other 2 I picked up were 2002. Enjoy...oh, and they are digitally remastered...Peace!

Media Plays are far and few between from what I understand...but they are an audio/video/book/toy store, for lack of better description. They are owned by Best Buy, so I am sure Best Buy has access to these CD's as well. Hope this helps, and no I did not ask at Best Buy. Have a great day!

You forgot "A Gift To You", which has also been re-released although it's obviously not as essential as his first two classic albums.

This remastering re-release issue came on the cusp of my collecting all the original CDs so I wasn't best pleased.

Cherrelle did a betta jop in Criticize even tho she kinda reminds me of Janet.

I enjoyed this Album.truly enjoyed His first two Albums alot.

Damn Best Buy only had Innocent..had to go to Circuit City for Hearsay but after 15 years its in my hot lil hands..wooo!

I only have this album on cassette so this re-release makes me happy. I need to replace that old tape.

Has anyone seen Cherrelle's "High Priority" yet? I checked the Media Play in town, but no luck. They even have "High Priority" "4 sale" in the Cherrelle bin, but alas, only Fragile is in there. Thanks...

and 2 BRAINSTORM and 2 SOS BAND albums have all been reissued by Capitol/EMI...they plan to reissue all the origianl TABU Records releases this year! All remastered with new liner notes!!!

I have´nt listened 2 Alexander O´neal in years,
love his first 3 albums though.
I saw him live in Stockholm,Sweden back in 1991
in "Konserthuset".
Soon after Alexander got on stage it was obvious that
something was wrong.

He appeared completly drugged out.He was in terrible shape,
forgetting the lyrics & loosing his balance on stage.
After about 5 songs his manager had 2 come up & walk him
off stage as the crowd was booing him out.
2 cool people out the bassplayer led the band into a
long jam-version of "Fake"(ironically).
It turned into a mass-party 4 about 20min as a lot of
people came up onstage dancing.

Alexander O'neal came back 2 sweden though 4 a free-concert
4 the people that had witnessed the devistating concert.
A lot of fans was so dissapointed in him though,they did´nt
bother 2 come.(quelle scandale)
The thing is that Alexander O´neal put on a fantastic,
furious performance the 2´nd time.100%.
The place was almost empty though.

Slamming production and arrangements in conjunction with great vocals from Cherrelle. I wore out the grooves on "Everything I Miss At Home" which went to number #1 on the R&B singles chart.

All my Alexander O'Neal CDs have been gathering dust at my Mum's house for years now. I didn't know they were rare! And the Cherelle stuff, Klymaxx.
