Nicole Scherzinger's North American debut album, Killer Love, has been moved from August 16 to November. While we wait for the album to reach this side of the Atlantic, she gets soaking “Wet” in a video for the fourth U.K. single.

She can sing and can dance but unfortunately her album will flop in the US. She may have more luck in the UK.

5 months ago Universal/Interscope distributed Killer Love in major European markets, where Scherzinger has stronger appeal. The delay in releasing it stateside suggests that there's skepticism about her marketability.

Sorry, I'm unable to discuss her musical talents with that "wet" picture in my screen.

Her problem is that she doesn't have an identity. One minute she is sounding like Rihanna, the next, she is sounding like Britney Spears.

It's like she is following the trend in an attempt at making it big really quickly.

In that video, Nicole sounds like she's just mimicing Adele. I think Nicole suffers from Eddie Murphy syndrome where she can mimic someone else well, but her own voice is meh.

I also suffer this affliction as does one of the math professors at my uni, but my natural voice is awful.

Identity - I'm with you. I remember seeing her on that "Pop Stars" show. I got to hear her really sing. So I know what she can do. Problem is, people just figure they can throw her random shitty songs and that it'll be a smash anyway as long as she looks hot in the video. Which has to be frustrating for her because she doesn't get to use her talent to full capacity, and also frustrating in the sense of it keeping her career from where it could be.

Nicole has talent however her handlers are pushing her to be something she is not. I had faith she could do well solo in her PCD days but Interscope messed that up with that horrid Right There song which clearly was a Rihanna throwaway.

she sounds like the typical american idol singers. there is nothing special about her voice. Even I can sing as decent as her.

Well I can agree with on that post is that songs are run of the mill that have been pushed to the American market which is nothing but run of the mill artists for the most part and marketing here is nothing more than the notion of put a rapper or trey songs on a track and it will sell too bad 9 out of ten times that is not so. Nicoles career is doing fine overseas where sorry to say that's where the money is. I know that most of the org doesn't think outside the USA box but the USA is no longer a leader in anything. She's already had a number one debut in he uk and a top 5 album, but I will say that with the tracks like "powers out" with Sting and her piano solo "amenjena" these Are tracks that better showcase her but the USA will not even attempt them here.as far as producers the last thing she needs is more input from whack producers like The Dream, Pollow, will I am and countless others.
