Awhile back,I came up with this interesting idea for a thread, which I didn't go through with
The Delfonics,The Stylistics and The Spinners: Which group got the best music from Thom Bell?
It was too difficult a question to answer,so I didn't do the thread

Interesting idea! Well, I don't know what others think, but I read in a book about Philly Soul (House on Fire) that Thom basically stopped working with the Stylistics to devote more time to the Spinners--though he loved Russell Thompkins Jr.'s voice , he thought that all the voices in the Spinners had more range , so he could do more with them.....
but personally, it's hard for me to choose...the Spinners probably had more hits with him, but I think I love the Stylistics songs even more....

Those three groups are amazing...I could never pick a favorite it's interesting that Thom stopped working with the Delfonics to devote more time to the Sylistics. Then he eventually dropped them to concentrate solely on the Spinners! lol |

That's like picking out three Cadillacs and deciding which one's the best. |

Yes I can relate to this statement. While I do like the Delfonics, the Spinners had more success on the charts, but the Stylistics songs touched my soul more. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. |
