Awhile back,I came up with this interesting idea for a thread, which I didn't go through with lol

The Delfonics,The Stylistics and The Spinners: Which group got the best music from Thom Bell?

It was too difficult a question to answer,so I didn't do the thread lol

lol Interesting idea! Well, I don't know what others think, but I read in a book about Philly Soul (House on Fire) that Thom basically stopped working with the Stylistics to devote more time to the Spinners--though he loved Russell Thompkins Jr.'s voice , he thought that all the voices in the Spinners had more range , so he could do more with them.....

but personally, it's hard for me to choose...the Spinners probably had more hits with him, but I think I love the Stylistics songs even more....

Those three groups are amazing...I could never pick a favorite lol it's interesting that Thom stopped working with the Delfonics to devote more time to the Sylistics. Then he eventually dropped them to concentrate solely on the Spinners! lol

Yes I can relate to this statement. While I do like the Delfonics, the Spinners had more success on the charts, but the Stylistics songs touched my soul more.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
