Maybe she's doing some sort of mating dance, in hopes of luring Bow Wow back.

I actually feel bad for Ciara sometimes, because that girl actually is talented as hell. She's probably the most naturally gifted dancer that's come along in pop music, in a long while.

I think she works with the wrong people, who don't know what to do with her or something. Wrong choreography, wrong songs, wrong outfits, the whole nine.

I definitly agree with this.

She is afar more talented dancer than Beyonce and Gaga..

and I didnt think that tribute was horrible either... Ive seen worse MJ tributes and imitators lol

While she isnt much of a singer, and her songs are blah, she got some moves on her... I really wished they could have asked her to dance during the MJ tributes in 09

...To me the tribute was pretty bad, yeah lol . And it actually under-utilized her talent; they could've given her much more complicated MJ-style choreography and that girl would've been able to pull it off, so I don't know why they threw her that shitty garbage.

Is she a Mariah Carey-caliber singer? No, but I've always kinda liked the general tone of her voice.

I think Ciara was trying to mix a combo of Usher and Mya's dance moves from the 2001 MSG show, along with the standard Jackson 5 headbob/point move. And then she threw in some of Michael's bow and kick moves that he'd do during "Black or White"

To quote Miss Effie White, "they can't see her dance on a record". She may be a better dancer, but her vocals, songwriting and stage presence fails in comparison to Gaga's.

Her performance was weird. She said all of 3 words in Wanna Be Startin Something, then proceeded to spread her legs and whisper "SEX." at the beginning of Don't Stop Till You Get Enough. I mean really....................what. was. going. on.

time flies.

I'm really surprised that she hasn't become Usher, Justin Timberlake or Beyonce's back up dancer. Hell I'm sure Janet could use her on her latest tour. lol lol lol lol

She's a very talented dancer but her stage presence sucks. She has no energy whatsoever, and she doesn't have the ability to affect the audience.

Also, the clothes, songs, voice, music, style is boring too.

She is gorgeous though. I could look at her all day if she didn't talk lol

Artistically, I think she could have really benefitted from a few years as a background dancer for a big name like Janet so she could learn firsthand about stage prescence and how to market yourself as an artist.

She was doomed from the start the minute she released "Goodies" because it was such a simplistic song that relied heavily on a big name at the time, Petey Pablo ( lol where did he go anyway?) and her dancing abilities showcased in the video. Since then, her career has largely been based off looks: the way she dances, people she features on songs, the clothes (or lack thereof) that she chooses to wear.

It won't be much longer now that she'll have to find a "real job" confused. Tragic, really. Had she been properly nurtured, she could've had a decent career.

time flies.
