MTV 30 on VH1 Classic!!

Turn it to the station now. Been watching since yesterday.

Performances from the VMA'a and various other programs. Unplugged, Yo MTV Raps, The Grind some show called Remote Control (must be before my time.)

Clips of Tom Green Show, Cribs, Rock N Jock B-Ball Jam, ect.

Amazing

I agree, but they are not playin any current crap.

Everything seems to be pre 1995 with a few bits from the late 90s and early 2000s sprinkled in.

It'll been best replaying VINTAGE MTV from 1981 up until 1999 or something. THAT'S the MTV I grew up with. Anything past that, fuck it.

Oh, hush.

They're shit NOW, but that wasn't always the case; when they first came out they played music videos more than anything and pretty much were pioneers. Maybe you're too young and you missed that part, but seriously - they were awesome.

Yeah, EXACTLY.

I'm an 80s baby who grew up being exposed to the channel, and that time period you just named off, was the golden era when it was really worth watching.

In fact, if they really wanna make us old-timers go nuts, they should only show the stuff that aired from about 81 to 89. Madonna, Prince, Michael and all those odd-ass new wave videos and shit LOL.

Yeah and don't forget the metalheads (Headbanger's Ball), indie rockers/alt rockers/goth rockers, etc. (120 Minutes) and hip-hop (Yo! MTV Raps). nod

Yeah MTV's launch took a bit from the Neil Armstrong landing with the MTV logo and that du, du-du, du-du-du theme. I LOVE THAT THEME TOO! headbang

Really enjoyed watching some of this when I had the time during the weekend.

Club MTV with downtown Julie Brown, Beavis and Butthead, Classic VMA performances....Courtney Love crashing Madonna's interview disbelief lol , The 1st season of the Real World, Live Aid "85 performances.....and I caught the original first hour of programming when the channel launched...complete with the original commercials and technical difficulties...awesome! The original VJ's...Mark Goodman drooling and at 58 he could still get it lol

It's shame what MTV is now...and the main channel can't even acknowledge their own birthday disbelief
